The 1756-IF8 is an I/O module with analog input and it has 8 channels. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It converts analog input to digital signals and change these digital values to analog signals for the outputs. These signals are then used for control purposes by the controllers. The available input resolutions are: +/- 10.25 Volts with a 320 µ Volts/count, 0 to 10.25 Volts with a 160 µ Volts/count, 0 to 5.125 Volts with a 80 µ Volts/count, and 0 to 20.5 milliamps with a 0.32 µ Amperes/count. It has 8 single-ended inputs, 4 differential inputs, and 2 high-speed differential inputs with a 36-pin removable terminal block.
